Community Goods Breakfast
What's on our breakfast menu, current prices, hours by location, and what to order, including the breakfast sliders everyone asks about.
We serve breakfast every day we're open, and the menu is short on purpose: sliders, toast, a rotating pastry case, and coffee or matcha to go with any of it. Here's what's on the breakfast menu, what it costs, when to come in, and what our regulars order most.
Community Goods Breakfast Menu
| Item | Price | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Breakfast Sliders | $12.00 | Soft scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and crispy bacon on Hawaiian rolls, served two or four to an order. Add avocado if you'd like. |
| Pistachio Toast | $10.00 | Sourdough spread with our house made pistachio butter, topped with crushed pistachio, vanilla sea salt, and honey. Ask for it without honey for the vegan version. |
| Ham and Comte | $8.00 | A croissant sandwich with ham, dijon, and Gruyère, finished with a cheddar top. |
| Bando Bread | $6.50 | Banana bread made with almond flour instead of wheat, served plain or with passionfruit butter on the side. It stops being vegan the moment the passionfruit butter goes on. |
| Kouign Amann | $6.50 | A laminated, caramelized French pastry, closer to a croissant than a muffin. |
| Cardy C (Cinnamon) | $7.00 | A simpler cinnamon pastry from the case. |
| Almond Yuzu | $7.50 | A citrus leaning pastry that reads tart rather than sweet. |
| Plain Croissant | $6.00 | For anyone who just wants a straightforward croissant with their coffee. |
Prices can change from time to time, so treat these as a close guide rather than the final word, especially for anything that happens to be sold out that day.
Community Goods Breakfast Hours
Both locations open at 7 AM. Edinburgh Ave closes earlier, 4 PM on weekdays and 5 PM on weekends, while PDC stays open until 6 PM every day.
We don't run a separate breakfast-only window. Sliders, toast, and pastries are available any time we're open, not just in the morning. That said, popular items do sell out on busy days, especially at Edinburgh, so getting here early is still the safer move if you have your heart set on something specific.
| Location | Opens | Weekday close | Weekend close |
|---|---|---|---|
| Edinburgh Ave | 7 AM | 4 PM | 5 PM |
| PDC | 7 AM | 6 PM | 6 PM |
Community Goods Breakfast Sliders
The breakfast sliders are the single most talked about item on our menu, and they're the reason a lot of people show up in the first place. They're built on Hawaiian rolls with soft scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and crispy bacon, with avocado available as an add-on. An order comes as two or four sliders, so it works either as a solo breakfast or something to split.
They run $12.00 an order. For more kick, both our CG Hot Sauce and Wemby Sauce are available as $1 add-ons: the hot sauce is a sweet chili and habanero blend, while Wemby Sauce is a mayo based sauce built around mustard, lemon, and dill.
Sliders are available at both locations for as long as we're open. If you're stopping by PDC specifically for them, it's still smart to double check they're in stock that day, since anything can sell out on a busy morning.
If you want to skip the longest lines, get here before 7:30 AM, especially at Edinburgh on weekends. Later in the morning, waits of 45 minutes to over an hour aren't unusual.
